Quinn XCII Biography
Quinn XCII is an American performer and vocalist born in 1992. The Detroit native grew up with the city’s Motown sound and eventually collaborated with his childhood friend Ayokay in elementary school. By the time Quinn attended college he would pursue writing and recording original music before uploading the records to the streaming platform YouTube.
Quinn originally went under the stage name Mike T and changed it in college before releasing his debut single in 2011. Following a couple of EPs, he would amass a loyal following and tour across the US by 2016. Quinn’s breakout single, "Straightjacket," would deliver more hype for his debut album The Story of Us. He has since released three more albums that have all gandered increasingly more critical acclaim and support.
Quinn’s breakout single would be certified Gold by the RIAA, one of three of his records to do so thus far. After his debut album, his next three releases would peak at #90, #56, and #69 on the Billboard 200 chart. In total, Quinn has charted four times on the Dance/Electronic chart, and peaked on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart with his feature on the MAX record, "Love Me Less."
Quinn XCII recently released his fourth album, Change of Scenery II, to crucial acclaim and commercial success, which included the hit single "Stay Next to Me" with Chelsea Cutler.
