THE FLINT CAVALIERS

Since 1998, The Flint Cavaliers have been, without a question, one of the most embraceable quintets on the gospel music scene. With mesmerizing harmonies and frenetic rhythms, this Flint, Michigan based music machine is turning out hit after smashing hit song. Their first hit, "Have You Ever Been Burdened", enjoyed widespread acceptance and capped off twenty-five years of music making. In 1999, their first album charted 11 on Billboard for a remarkable 52 weeks and received the enviable Soul Train nomination for Best Gospel Recording.

Riding this wave of success, the group quickly followed up with their second project, " Brand New" which was commercially viable despite having to overcome many obstacles along its sure path to success. Craig Johnson, George Carter, Jay Britt, Marcus Peterson, and Dennis Miller (The Flint Cavaliers) have shared the stage with some of the finest acts in our day: Shirley Caesar, The Williams Brothers, and The Mighty Clouds of Joy. In addition, they have appeared on the Wilson Singsation Show, The Gospel Music Workshop of America, and at Alabama's American Gospel Quarter Convention.

Their objective is to produce timeless, quality recordings that the public can enjoy. As producer Craig Johnson puts it, "We love to perform to the general public, gospel and secular. Though gospel is our base, they enjoy performing for all kinds of audiences. Whether smooth-flowing ballads, like the first single on Reborn, I Am Determined, to the explosive track, So In Love, this awesome quintet is dishing out a heaping platter full of lush harmonies and honey-sweet rhythms. This enticing musical entree includes the following cuts: "I Need You", "Time Ain't Long", "Going Up Yonder", "Are You Ready", "In Your Arms", "So In Love", "I Appreciate", among others.
